Definition:
narrative text is a text to amuse the readers about the imaginary story it can
be a fable, legent, myth, and many more.
Generic
structure:
1.
Orientation: is an introduction to
the characters in the story, what happened, where and when the events occurred.
2.
Complication: is the problem among
the characters.
3.
Resolution: is the problem can be
solved.
4.
Re-orientation: is closing statement.
Specific text:
1.
Using past event.
2.
Usually started by adverb of time.
3.
Using conjuction such as: then,
before, etc.
Purpose:
the purpose of narrative is to entertain and comfort people.
